Nothingness
Under the moonless
The chatter of bells ensued
The howling of despair rings out
Something evil this way starts
Running down the black icy path
Fear consumed by the constant blare
Beasts lurking at every shadow
Tingling their senses with every step
Moving forwards is the only choice
All that surround in this unholy night
Is darkness and despair
Manifested nothingness
His heart racing as time passes
The darkness goes on and on
The light at the end of the tunnel
Has gone missing, lost.
His body is weak but his mind goes on
He runs and runs till oblivion he forgets
Fear now numbed by his constant flare
He keeps moving never to stop.
Red eyes surrounding, foul smells emits
The chilling fear of his heart pounces out
The devil’s face that he actually saw
Was his own, his painful soul
He wrestled himself for days
Determined to overcome himself
He finally wins the battle
A light then shone afar
The nothingness in his soul
He hath overcome
The manifestations have gone
But the nothingness lays dormant waiting to be reborned.
